USLove everything about fFirstLight and this is one of my favorite cuts! It comes wel trimmed and I smoke it at 300 for 30-45 mins depending on the thickness. Tri tip is lean but this still comes out tender and delicious!
USI wish I would of inquired about how to cook the tri tip. I followed a recipe and it was a little tough.
USI’ve heard that tri tip is not a common cut outside of California, but I love that FirstLight offers it. I have purchased this so many times from FL and it’s always perfect on the grill. Always tender and the extra marbling gives it a ton of flavor. Love it.
